casting report

the way we would pick who would be in the film is how they would reach the guidelines of each character e.g

main character - criminal:

- at least 5'5 height

- male or female

- able to shoot for long moments

- any shoe size

- any eye colour

- any ethnicity / race

- talents : non specific (running preferred)

main character - police officer:

-must be above 5'8

- male

- must be ready for shoots at anytime

- any shoe size

- any eye colour

- any ethnicity/ race

- must have a visible level of fitness

character - wife of criminal

- any height

- female

- any coloured eyes (preferred a blue green or grey)

- any shoe size

- clear skin (bare face for filming)

- any ethnicity/ race

extras - police officers:

- ready to film at any given notice

- male and female

- all races and ethnicities

- can wear glasses

- any height  above 5'6

for the main character we picked lakeisha - because she fits the requirements and shes a black young lead which challanges standard conventions

for the police officer we picked jordan - he fits the requirements, he also reflects the alpha male image that we wanted to display especially after we chose lakeisha.

the height ratio suits the camera

the wife of the criminal wasn't really important as we only needed her eye for the opening title so we stuck with someone in our group: ruby

any extras we would just gather from the sixth form area in our school as they were all on free periods to be taken - saves us time and effort rather than getting outsiders
